Start with the way you cleanse.
Oil, foam or cleansing milk?
Texture is a starting point. Check what the formula is designed to remove, how to rinse it and how your skin feels afterwards.

Keep the method gentle
The American Academy of Dermatology recommends a gentle, non-abrasive cleanser, lukewarm water and a soft towel. Scrubbing harder is no shortcut to a better cleanse.
A cleansing milk example
JUMISO describes its D-Panthenol Cleansing Milk as a cleanser for sunscreen and everyday makeup. Its instructions: apply with dry hands, massage gently, add a little water, then rinse with lukewarm water. Follow the directions on your own bottle.
